Part Breaker Challenge Breakdown
3DEO’s parts aren’t your typical 3D printed parts. Where others crumble, ours are tough. That’s why we want you to try to break them in an atypical way — if you can. Crush them with a boulder, put one in a blender… get creative, and you can win some cold, hard, cash.
All you have to do is use a little imagination and take a video of you trying to break our parts.
We’ve had a couple of questions about the challenge, so let’s fully break down how to enter:
Request Your Complimentary Sample Kit
You’ll need some of our parts before you do any breaking! Request your free 3DEO Sample Parts Kit here so we can send them to you. You’ll get an email with a tracking number once they’re shipped.
While they make their way over, take the opportunity to think of how you’re going to try to destroy them, as well as any materials or equipment you may need.
Assemble your demolition team and Conduct your break test
Now that you have your parts, it’s time to break them. Remember, this is a challenge on how creative you can get!
We’re really looking to see those wild ideas in action. It’s less about the actual breakage and more about how you try to break our parts since we’ve heard our parts can really take a beating. We want you to see for yourself how tough they are.
Film your team and submit your video
Be sure to film the part breaking! Low-value productions are completely acceptable as long as we can clearly see what’s going on. You can submit your videos to firstname.lastname@example.org with “We Dare You” in the subject line — don’t forget to mention who you are.
As a bonus for participating, you can get a free “Part Breaker” t-shirt when you submit your video! Let us know if you’d like one with your preferred shirt size in the same email.
Submit your videos by 5 pm PT on Tuesday, June 1st to be entered to win $2,500.
The winner will be announced a week later, so keep an eye out for updates!
